The Holy Communion Service was led by the Very Rev’d Canon Geoffrey Mungai, bringing together lay delegates in a moment of worship, reflection, and commitment.

The Homily was delivered by the 6th Mt. Kenya South, Rt. Rev’d Canon Charles M. Muturi. He began by expressing gratitude to the lay delegates for setting aside their busy schedules to attend the service, acknowledging their dedication to the church’s mission and the ongoing cathedral project.

Bishop Muturi centered his message on Daniel 6:26, a powerful declaration of God’s sovereignty:
"He is the living God and He endures forever; His kingdom will not be destroyed, His dominion will never end. He rescues and He saves; He performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth."
He emphasized that these attributes of God,His grace, eternal reign, and miraculous power, should be the foundation of our faith as we trust Him in our individual and collective missions.
He further encouraged the congregation to hold firm to their faith as they prepare for the grand cathedral fundraiser on June 15th, where they are trusting God to provide 60 million towards its completion. Reflecting on the journey from the first extra mile to the third, he reminded the delegates that just as God granted success in the past, He would surely bring the current project to fulfillment.
Quoting Daniel 11:32, "The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits," he urged everyone to remain steadfast, for when we trust in God, signs and wonders will follow.
He also referenced Numbers 31:48-50, highlighting the importance of gratitude and dedication in completing great tasks for God’s glory.
The session also featured key insights from:
