Diocese - DAY 2 AT ACT DIOCESE OF KONDOA


First Session by the 6th MT. Kenya South: During this session, participants and Evangelists were taught the importance of self-care, particularly in relation to nutrition. They were encouraged to cultivate genuine friendships and engage in social capital investments. The session covered various topics, including:

    1. Self-Care and Nutrition: Emphasizing the significance of what we eat.
    2. Qualities of the Old Church: Discussing the foundational attributes that define the Old Church.
    3. Types of Giving: Exploring different forms of generosity.


    SECOND SESSION: Prayer life; by THE REV'D WILLIAM MUNYUI: He emphasized the crucial role of prayer in church life, stating, "A prayerless church is a powerless church."

    THIRD SESSION: Anglicanism BY THE REV'D JEREMIAH MUCHOKI (DoET) led a discussion on the topic of Anglicanism, providing insights into its principles and practices.

    FOURTH SESSION: The Eagle by THE 6TH MT KENYA SOUTH In the final session, the focus was on the qualities of an eagle and their applications to our lives. The session concluded with a commissioning ceremony led by the Rt Rev'd Canon Charles M. Muturi, who commissioned the Evangelists from the Anglican Church of Tanzania Diocese of Kondoa on behalf of the _Rt Rev'd Given Gaula._ As part of the initiative known as Project Africa, the 6th Mt. Kenya South presented the Evangelists with various books covering topics such as preaching, pastoral care, stewardship, and teaching the Christian faith.
