Diocese - NEW ST PETERS SATELLITE SANCTUARY CONSECRATED

THE NEW ST. PETER'S SATELLITE SANCTUARY CONSECRATED IN COLOURFUL CEREMONY

After a 12 year wait, Christians of ACK St. Peter’s Satellite were ecstatic when The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi Dedicated and Consecrated their magnificent new sanctuary.

Bishop Charles lauded the efforts of the Vicar Rev'd Elizabeth Wambui and Parishoners for a fantastic job.

He also paused for a moment of silence in memory of Rev'd Stephen Naibei and Rev'd Michael Ndere who served in the Parish at the time of their demise as well as their Patron The Late Reuben Kibue.

Rev'd Walter Okelo (rtd) was recognised for his pioneer work in the parish.

A battery of Clergy was present led by Riruta Archdeacon Ven. Esther Kagicha, Waithaka Area Dean Rev'd Tino Mpishi, as well as Area Deans Rev'd Jedidah Maina, Rev'd Simon Nginyo, Rev'd Stanley Kinyanjui and Clergy Spouses. The Sub-dean of Malindi Diocese where Rev'd Elizabeth served earlier was in attendance.

"Everything has a limit, but doing good has no limits. Yet being good is not innately inbuilt. Being good is a decision we make. Similarly, refrain from pride, for it is God who gives us the power to produce wealth. Let us not forget that all we have belongs to God; He has given us the choice, chance to be the change we want to see." Bishop Charles observed in his homily.

In line with the Sub-theme of March, he urged them to continue investing in The Kingdom bank, even as they strive to earn earthly wealth.
